Masi Oka certainly hasn’t been lounging around since Heroes ended as he’s popped up in a lot of places, including a recurring role on Hawaii 5-0 this year, but his life is about to get a bit busier. According to The Hollywood Reporter , Oka has signed on to write with Alex Sabeti on a new project for the SyFy channel called The Correctors. The show will follow two agents of the Exceptions Bureau who are dispatched to a parallel universe where they inhabit the bodies of their identical selves in order to stop events from occurring.
As the report notes, SyFy has been working its way back to scripted dramas in the last few months with a number of shows hitting and doing well, including Being Human, and they have the return of Warehouse 13 and Eureka later this year as well as a new Battlestar Galactica series that’s set to deal with the first Cylon war. With Oka set to star in The Correctors as well, it’ll add a bit of geek name recognition that will draw in some of the Heroes crowd to be sure.
