Viewster has been pretty aggressive in building up their catalog of series to stream and now it’s been boosted up a bit more with a familiar series as Demon King Daimao has found its way there . One of the early pickups from Sentai Filmworks that did well from the company but didn’t get wide distribution back then, the twelve episode series is now available in full on the service in its original Japanese with English language subtitles. The series was produced by Artland and originally aired in 2010 and was based on the light novel series of the same name from Shotaro Mizuki, which ran for thirteen volumes between 2008 and 2014. Sentai Filmworks released the bilingual DVD and Blu-ray back in 2011.
Plot concept: On the first day of school at the magic academy, Akuto’s aptitude test indicates his future occupation to be a Demon King. So begins Akuto’s trials and tribulations of school life as the entire school either runs in terror of him or tries to destroy him.
