With a few sequels hitting this year, one that’s been rather anticipated by audiences for the summer season is that of Gatchaman Crowds Insight. Crunchyroll has picked up the simulcast rights for the series and has brought out the first episode now for fans. Episode one has arrived alongside episode zero as well. The series will be available going forward on Saturday’s at 3 pm ET and the series will be available in the .United States (and its territories), Canada, Central and South America (including the Caribbean), Australia and New Zealand, South Africa, Europe, and the Middle East and North Africa.

The first series of the show was simulcast by Crunchyroll in multiple territories and Sentai Filmworks picked up the home video release, which they brought out on bilingual DVD and Blu-ray.

Plot concept: Now a year after the so-called Tachikawa Incident in the summer of 2015, the CROWDS ability–a gift from Berg Katze to Ninomiya Rui, the ability to give the human mind shape and form–is widespread among the masses. The use of the ability is acknowledged and promoted by the Japanese Prime Minister himself, but he faces mounting frustration and suspicion from those who bear ill will against the CROWDS.
