Yen Press is working their Highschool of the Dead mojo as best as they can with the announcement of an omnibus edition arriving at retailers on November 22nd, 2011. The $49.99 collection will be home to the first four volumes of the series, which largely collects what the anime has adapted. The individual volumes have been running at $13.99 per volume, so it’s a nice $6 saving over buying them individually and makes for a great stocking stuffer to introduce someone to a fun little fanservice series. And the timing works out well too in that it comes just a couple of weeks after The Walking Dead returns to TV, so it can be paired with those releases in bookstores (providing any still exist in the real world by then).
