While on some level you can certainly do a bit of mocking when it comes to the fact that Crunchyroll has built an app for the Wii, the truth of the matter is that it makes a lot of sense. There are a lot of them out there. In fact, even though they may be collecting dust, they can now make for an idea little streaming device to bring Crunchyroll to that also long neglected TV somewhere and open up the potential for new members. Whether the cost investment in the app pays off is only for Crunchyroll to know, but adding their service to as many devices as possible has been one of the best things Crunchyroll has done.
