With a third season renewal having just hit earlier this week, the Star Wars Rebels series is now getting out the first preview for the second part of the three-part mid-season finale that’s landing next Wednesday. It’s an interesting clip in that it goes for a very serious and somber piece with the music used for it.

The premise for the clip has also been revealed; “[T]he Ghost crew is pinned by Imperial forces. Driven to act, Ezra unleashes impressive power, though he is also reckless…”

The series stars Freddie Prinze, Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Vanessa Marshall. The second season got underway on October 14th, 2015.

Plot concept: Set five years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and fourteen years after the fall of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Council in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the series follows a motley group of rebels (all of whom have been affected by the Galactic Empire in one form or another) that band together aboard a freighter starship called the Ghost. The series will also focus on the origins of some of the groups that will form the Rebel Alliance.
