Crunchyroll Adds Third ‘Yuru Yuri’ Series For Fall 2015 Anime Lineup

2:18 AM

Crunchyroll Adds Third ‘Yuru Yuri’ Series For Fall 2015 Anime Lineup Coming as no surprise after simulcasting the first two series, Crunchyroll has now started streaming the third series of Yuru Yuri with San Hai. The announcement comes just as the first episode itself goes live, so there’s one more show in your queue to check out today. Crunchyroll will be streaming the series every Monday at 2:15 pm ET for its premium users and the series will be available worldwide outside of Japan for them. For free users, it’ll be available worldwide outside of Asia.

What’s different with this season is that the production team from the first two seasons won’t be involved, but the production team from the OVA will. That means we’ll see the season directed by Hiroyuki Hata at TYO Animations based on story material from him and Makoto Fukami. Mtohiro Taniguchi is on board to work the character designs and also serve as the chief animation director.

This series follows up the 2011 and 2012 series, which were streamed by Crunchyroll and released on home video by NIS America, as well as an OVA release.

Plot concept: Right after starting middle school, Akari Akaza joins the Amusement Club which is composed solely by her two childhood friends, Kyouko Toshinou and Yui Funami. Chinatsu Yoshikawa, Akaza’s classmate, becomes a member after finding out about the dissolution of the Tea Club.

The Amusement Club, situated at the tea room facility since the Tea Club disbanded, has no clear purpose, being free for the girls to do whatever they want.
