Toei Animation has their plans now set for the home video release of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, the latest theatrical feature in the franchise. In theaters this past spring, the film will now be getting an October 7th, 2015 debut in Japan. The new spot shows off a bit of the show itself and we’ve also got a look at the limited edition release packaging below. The format and pricing breakdown is set with:

• DVD: 3,800yen
• DVD LE: 7,800yen
• BD: 4,800yen
• BD LE: 8,800yen

Extras included with the limited edition have the various stage greetings and events as the main piece. No breakdown in the extras running time is available yet but it’s all on a second disc.

Based on the screenplay by original creator Akira Toriyama, the two hour film is directed by Tadayoshi Yamamuro with Toei Animation handling the production side of it.

Plot concept: An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza’s army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for ‘egg’) arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the “F” that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived…!
