Considering the popularity of How to Train Your Dragon back in 2010, it’s no surprise that a TV series was in the works. But they’ve been taking their time on it as it’s not airing until the fall this year on Cartoon Network under the name Dreamworks Dragons: The Series. The two promos that have come out so far use a bit of footage from both the movie and the TV series, but as you’ll note, it’s very easy to tell the difference between the two. And for film fans, it just means they’ll likely bide their time until the second movie hits in the summer of 2014. Still, for the younger fans and those that like what could be some fun stories considering how the movie went, this is a good way to expand that world a bit and just have fun with it.
