Similar to the Goldenboy announcement, Discotek Media has announced the acquisition of Lupin the 3rd: The Secret of Mamo anime movie for release sometime in 2013. Details are slim at the moment on it but according to the item announced at LupinTheThird.com , in addition to the original Japanese language track and subtitles, it will also have the Geneon/Phuuz Ent. dub, the Streamline Pictures dub from 1994 and  the Manga UK dub from 1995. They also indicate that there will be a DVD first with it in that it will contain the full Toho dub from the late ’70s.

The feature has seen a number of releases over the years with the most high profile one being the Geneon release back in the early 2000′s. The owner, TMS Entertainment, also has the full length feature available in English on Hulu, as you can see below.

Plot Concept: The world’s most wanted master thief, Lupin the Third is dead! Despite a coroner’s report, Inspector Zenigata is skeptical and discovers that Lupin is actually alive and well and stealing! But who had set up Lupin’s death and why?
