The process for the Macross Delta series has been ongoing for over a year now and we’re finally getting some new details about it. The series, the first since Macross F finished back in 2008, is set to take place eight years after the events of that series in 2067. You can see the first promotional video for it before.

Minori Suzuki won the talent audition for the lead singer position and she’s taking on the role of Freyja Wion in the series.

The show is being directed by Shoji Kawamori while Kenji Yasuda is serving as the hands-on director. Toshizou Nemoto is handling the series compositions and scripts while Majiro and yuu Shindou are handling the character designs adapted from the original work done by Chisato Mita. Satelight is animating the series.
