Like a lot of people who grew up on The Simpsons, you do get to a point where you stop watching it and wonder how it can still be on the air. But like many of those after twenty-five years who have our favorite seasons, dismiss the rest and just gripe about it, we can almost always be counted on to at least sample the yearly treat of the Treehouse of Horror. The latest one is almost upon us and the Animation Domination block has let loose with the extended couch gag sequence for it, directed by Guillermo del Toro, which is stuffed to the gills with so many references, fun and creativity that you do wonder how you could have left it after all this time.
