The Review:
Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
After some really amusing bits in the previous episode in regards to a certain teachers reality, the show shifts to something a bit more reasonable. With Ishida going on again about the flower shop that he wants to open with Asakura, the talk turns to the funds needed to get the business off the ground, which seems like it’ll run about ten million yen. With Asakura not having the funds to do that, things turn silly as the attempts to gain the funds is basically a whole lot of threatening. Asakura does do his best in order to raise the funds, but he comes up woefully short. But his efforts certainly are rewarded in another way as Ishida is even more intent on achieving this goal seeing just how much Asakura will give towards it.
In Summary:
I’ll be honest at this point and say that when this show ends, I want a show with these two guys running a flower shop just to see if they can pull it off. Part of me suspects that they’d be such a quirky and unusual place that they’d get far more business than one would expect. Watching what the two young men will do to help each other out is pretty much the focus in most of these episodes, when it’s not on boobs and trunks, and this one manages to do some fun stuff in its short run time once again. It’s still an unusual gag comedy but one that I strangely find myself continuing to warm up to.
