With just about a month until its theatrical debut in Japan, the next piece of the Monogatari franchise has received a new teaser trailer with Kizumonogatari. It’s being broken into the three pieces with the first film, Tekketsu-hen, debuting on January 8th, 2016.

The other two films, Nekketsu-hen and Reiketsu-hen will get their dates later.

The first film has set Akiyuki Shinbou as the chief director with Tatsuya Oishi directing it. Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka are on board for the character designs and Shaft is once again handling the production for it.

Plot concept: I think it’s about time I talked about Kiss-Shot-Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade. I believe it’s something I have to do. I met her in the spring break between my second and third years of high school. That meeting had such impact, and was also quite devastating.
