Anyone who follows me on things like GetGlue or Miso knows that I watch a lot of TV and a lot of sitcoms as it’s good background decompression material. One thing we came across today in our net travels though, while not truly skillfully put together, definitely made us laugh as it’s a reworking of the Friends opening done with footage of the actors from The Avengers. There’s not much in the way of costume material in here, but it did bring to mind the last time we had a good live action super hero comedy on TV with The Tick. In watching the brief clip below, it definitely makes you wonder if there is a way to pull off a proper sitcom style superhero comedy that’s not based on actual superheroics and costumes and not the awful banter we get over with Comic Book Men.
