Crunchyroll Adds ‘Dog Days’ Season 3 For Winter 2015 Anime Lineup Crunchyroll continues to expand its offerings for the winter 2015 anime season and the latest one to get the nod is the third season of Dog Days, which is going by the name of Dog Days Double Dash. The series premiered today on the service with new episodes going live every Saturday at noon ET for premium members and a week later for free members. The series has a bit of a limited amount of streaming as it’ll be open to members in Asia excluding China, Korea, India.

This new series takes place a couple of months after the second season in terms of continuity. The series is based on the original work by Masaki Tsuzuki, who is doing the series composition for this, and will be directed by Junji Nishimura with Katsuya Kikuchi serving as the assistant direction. Osamu Sakata will be handling the character designs for it and Seven Arcs is handling the animation production.

The main cast of characters has also been announced with their actors with Mamoru Miyano as Shinku Izumi, Yui Horie as Millhiore F. Biscotti, Nana Mizuki as Ricotta Elmar, Ami Koshimizu as Leonmitchelli Galette Des Rois, Mikako Takahashi as Rebecca Anderson, Aoi Yūki as Kuberu E. Pastillage and Ayana Taketatsu as Eclair Martinozzi.

Plot concept: Republic of Biscotti faces a predicament by the invasion of Galette Leo Knights. In order to save the country, Princess Milchore summons a “hero” from the outer world. Cinque, a junior high school boy living on the Earth, is chosen as the hero.
