Is more Zettai Karen Children, aka Psychic Squad as released in North America, on the way? It appears that might be the case in Japan as the latest volume of the manga, #30, has just landed there and the wraparound on it indicates that a new project is coming. According to the translation of the image wrap below:

“New Project Begins-!
Something happens to the abs. children this year!?
Wait for the next volume for more information!”

So sometime this fall there’s a chance that something new is coming, either in anime, manga, game or light novel form, that will potentially bring some additional life to the franchise. The manga has been running since 2005 to good consistent numbers and a 51 episode TV series was produced in 2008 and 2009 which is currently seeing release from Sentai Filmworks. Add in a game and a light novel in Japan and it’s hit a few markets, but doesn’t seem to have really hit big in a way to be truly noticed.
