It’s been eight years since Johnny English came out with Rowan Atkinson doing his spy shtick, which makes you wonder why we’re just now getting a sequel to it with him returning to the role. While the movie was largely considered a flop here in the U.S., making just a hair over $28 million, it did pretty well overseas where it netted $132 million, giving it a solid $160 million worldwide on a budget of just $40 million. The new feature is due out on September 16th this year with Atkinson returning to the role while starring alongside such notables as Gillian Anderson, Dominic West and Rosamund Pike.
