FUNimation Unveils ‘Mass Effect: Paragon Lost’ Trailer, Cast Announcement FUNimation spent some of its time at the San Diego Comic-Con with a premiere look at the first trailer for Mass Effect: Paragon Lost. The new feature is due out on DVD/BD on November 13th based off of the game franchise of the same name. The main casting news that came in was that Freddie Prinze, Jr. would be returning in his role as James Vega for the movie. The audience was also treated to hearing the composers for the feature, Joshua R. Mosleyand David Kates, to talk about what went in to it after they spent time doing the music for the first two games. The trailer is just a minute long but gives you a good look at the feel and tenor of the feature.

Mass Effect: Paragon Lost is the prequel to the highly-anticipated Mass Effect 3 and follows the early career of Alliance Marine, James Vega. Stationed at a colony in a remote star system, Vega and his soldiers must protect the civilians from a ruthless invasion determined to capture the population for unknown purposes.
